  1. Exporting to Excel
    Please be assured: you do not need to have MS Excel installed in order to run X-Feeder! This feature is optional!

    X-Feeder is an efficient betting software for BetFair Games. It allows you to play all six games: Poker, Blackjack, Baccarat, Hi Lo, Omaha Hi and Card Derby. X-Feeder combines manual betting functions, such as one-click betting/cancelling, with powerful automated functions, such as automated green-up, stop-loss, auto-Dutching and above all triggered (conditional) betting. The latter option makes it possible for you to set up your own betting scenarios using a simple set of tools (buttons, text fields and drop-down lists).

    This option helps to increase the probability that the first selection on which X-Feeder backs will be a winner and thus the prices of the other selections will increase in the next rounds. Set this option and define how many games the selection must lose before X-Feeder will back on it. For instance, if you set this to 8 and any selection has not lost more than 5 games in a row the game will be skipped. On the other hand when the selection has lost 8 games in a row it has greater probability to win than all other selections. So if the software backs on it at a price of 3.98 in the first round, there is a good chance that its price will drop to something near 2.5 in the second round and all the other prices leap up above 4.0 forming a good book percentage.

    If you want to get rid of the old log files on program's start, use the option At the start of the program clear log records older than ... days. Enter the number of days into the special field. For example, if you want to keep only today's log files, enter 1, if you want to keep the log files for the last 30 days, enter 30 and so on.

  18. Terminology
    Triggered betting is based on special instructions that you key in to X-Feeder. These instructions may perform various actions: back, lay, cancel bets, activate special options, change default bet size etc. Not only can you specify where to place the bet and set its parameters, but moreover you can define numerous conditions under which the action should be performed. One instruction for making exactly one action is called a trigger. You can add, edit and delete triggers using a special interface inside X-Feeder.

    However, you are not limited to these options. You can also check the suit of the card. Example:
  20. Trigger Conditions
    A trigger can function without any trigger conditions (if you don't need them). But you must always add at least one condition, if the trigger is set to work with all matching selections or any other option containing the word matching or unmatching.
  21. Condition Body and Parameter
    Condition body options can be divided into several groups based on the type of object they refer to. For a quick hint on a particular option take a look at the area coloured in yellow.
  22. Channel-Related Conditions
    This option allows you to count the number of games that have passed since a certain moment or event. See more details here.

    This option is similar to the previous one, only it takes into account zero games. Such games are labeled Z. For example:

    This option checks the condition for each selection in the game, no matter what is the value of the Selections parameter of the trigger. If at least one selection does not satisfy this condition, then it will return false.

    This option is similar to just Cards, only it analyses the three handicap cards that Card Derby selections are dealt in the second round.

    The second field will immediately offer the following options:
  28. Introduction
    No, simple triggers can be created only based on your human logic. You don't need any formulae to set up a betting action with a few game conditions. For example, to lay on the favourite in the second round, if it does not have cards in sequence, suited cards or a pair. In order to add these parameters and make the trigger work you only need to do some mouse-clicking and choose the right options from the drop-down lists.

    The trigger will be executed in each round, provided its conditions are satisfied of course. This means that if a trigger is set to place a bet, for example, it will place this bet in every round where the selection(s) satisfy the criteria (potentially several bets on the same selection). Note: if you combine this option with exactly in ... round, the trigger will be executed only in that particular round.

    You can now choose whether to show or hide your username on the screen. It could be handy if you want to make a screenshot of X-Feeder, but don't want anyone to know your username. Check General Options to find this new setting.

    In Auto-Dutching options we added a setting that will define what hand to back on in the second round (at Preflop). Before this update X-Feeder used to always back on the lowest priced hand expecting its price to lower more in the eventual rounds. This strategy is not always good however. So you may now choose the hand you prefer to back on at Preflop. The options are Favourite, Probable Loser and Second Favourite.

    max_profit - this is the maximum profit earned by the triggers after which the channel will stop. It is strongly recommended to avail yourself of this option to prevent your P/L going down after a series of wins.

    Yes, X-Feeder has an option to show P/L figures net of BetFair commission.
  73. Can I Automatically Green Up (close my position)?
    Moreover X-Feeder offers special Stop-Loss options like Spread Loss and Distribute Loss when certain criteria are met (for example the selection's price is under specified minimum).
  74. Do I Need Any Special Software Installed?
    All you need is Windows operation system, versions NT 4.0, 2000, XP or Vista. No other applications are required. Using Microsoft Excel is optional and is NOT obligatory.
