    As you should understand X-Feeder cannot maintain a fast refresh of the games if either the Internet line or the API are performing badly. There are periods (on week-ends and in the end of work days) when the BetFair server is overloaded and thus it takes more time to get a response from it. X-Feeder cannot be blamed for these seasonal deteriorations because it always uses the same code for connecting to the API and this code is documented on the BetFair BDP web site.

    Set these options if you want to do the contrary action; transfer some money into your Games account as soon as the funds available there drop below the specified minimum. For example, if you set it to Transfer in 5 EUR when less than 11 EUR this means X-Feeder will claim 5 EUR from your BetFair account whenever the Games funds are below 11 EUR.

    To update the history by loading the data from more (or less) games, simply repeat the same procedure and key in a different History depth number.

    The Previous Result figure shows how much you have won or lost in the last game that you played in any channel. As different games start and stop at different time this value will change in the beginning of every game in every channel. For example: you are playing Poker and Baccarat simultaneously. In the Poker channel you have just lost 5 EUR, while the Baccarat game is still on. The Previous Result will show -5.0 EUR. In the Baccarat channel you won 7.15 EUR. This figure will change to 7.15 EUR, yet the Total Profit/Loss will show 2.15 EUR.

  12. Auto-Dutching
    This option helps to increase the probability that the first selection on which X-Feeder backs will be a winner and thus the prices of the other selections will increase in the next rounds. Set this option and define how many games the selection must lose before X-Feeder will back on it. For instance, if you set this to 8 and any selection has not lost more than 5 games in a row the game will be skipped. On the other hand when the selection has lost 8 games in a row it has greater probability to win than all other selections. So if the software backs on it at a price of 3.98 in the first round, there is a good chance that its price will drop to something near 2.5 in the second round and all the other prices leap up above 4.0 forming a good book percentage.
  13. Auto-Greenup
    Set this option to lay on the selection that has won the total biggest number of games in the course of the trading session. The wins don't necessarily have to go in a row. The selection may win - say - every third game and even lose the previous one, yet be the selection with the biggest number of wins.

    If both games finished at the same time your bet amounts will be changed to 2.16 GBP.
  15. Terminology
    When X-Feeder is working in test mode it can simulate account balance, bets, profit/loss and bets settlement as if you were trading with real money in your account. You can perform the same actions: transfer the funds in and from your test account, place and cancel bets, apply automated betting strategies and test your betting systems - and all of that without risking a penny! Moreover you can choose which games you want to trade in in test mode, that is say bet for real in Poker and bet in test mode in all the other channels.

    After you have activated all the triggers you want to run make sure that the Auto-Trading button in the channel where you want to trade is ON.
  17. Trigger Conditions
    The number of games the selection won without any losses or ties in between. This option is different from Consecutive Wins or Ties because it does not take ties into account. For example, if a selection won 3 games, then tied, then won 2 games in a row, then consecutive wins will be equal to 2, and consecutive wins or ties to 6.

The pointer is always set on the first selection when you restart the application.

    Using the recently added trigger variable channel_trend we'll determine the early signs of a losing streak and change the type of our betting from back to lay and backwards. The theory behind this is that the favourite hand might lose several games in a row, then keep winning for several next games and so on.

    There are two settings which you can adjust easily: the number of cycles of loss recovery and the divisor by which the loss is divided. The latter numbershould be an integer and ideally it should not be greater than the price at which you usually lay minus 1: (lay_price - 1). For example, if you lay £2 at 3.82 and lose, your loss will be £5.64, and it is reasonable to make the divisor 2. The loss will be divided by 2, and in the next2 games the bet size will be equal to £2.82. If you set the divisor to4 for instance, the size of the bet will be below the allowed minimum: £5.64/4 = £1.41. However if your initial stake is greater than the allowed minimum, you may choose divisors that are greater than (lay_price - 1). In the trigger file the initial stake is supposed to be £4+, and the price it lays at is 3.78, so the divisor is 3.

    You can see that after the first loss of -£20.0 the program divided 20 by 4 and laid that amount in the next three games. It would have laid once more to completely recover the loss in the fourth game, but another loss of -£25.6 prevented that. Together with the remaining -£5.03 this now made a total of -£30.63. The program again divided it by 4 and placed four bets each of £7.65 to recoup that loss. As soon as it had been done, the bet size was reverted to £4, as you can see from the details of the bet displayed to the left.
